As part of a freelance collaboration, I led the development of the "Kayla" bag, a distinctive cubical Boston-style handbag designed as a functional yet visually striking piece. The creative direction focused on blending sharp geometry with structural reinforcement, resulting in a bold, protective silhouette.
Kayla’s unique identity lies in its cube-like shape, enhanced and protected by geometric leather overlays. These strategically placed panels — along the corners and faces of the bag — serve a dual purpose : reinforcing the structure while accentuating the architectural design. The result is a compact and durable bag that feels both sculptural and modern.
