As part of a freelance assignment, I developed the Ejiah bag, a design defined by smooth curves and a generous volume. With its rounded silhouette, the bag is crafted to glide effortlessly along the body, naturally embracing its shape for a fluid and comfortable wear.
Ejiah’s soft, organic form contrasts with its ample size, perfectly balancing practicality and femininity. The construction emphasizes rounded lines and supple finishes, allowing for a natural drape and a light, graceful silhouette in motion.
DEVELOPMENT
The development process included :
- Careful volume studies to ensure spaciousness without sacrificing comfort, achieved through a structure that is both soft and supportive
- Designing an ergonomic shape that sits close to the body without restricting movement
- Selecting supple yet durable leathers to guarantee both longevity and fluidity
- Close collaboration with pattern makers and workshops to refine the shape, seams, and technical details
